Maharashtra Resilience Development Program (MRDP)
The Maharashtra Resilience Development Program is a World Bank funded project, envisioned within the Krishna sub-basin to enhance resilient development in Maharashtra through climate-informed and integrated flood, drought, and landslide risk management.
The overall project cost is 400 million USD (INR 3200 Crores). The World Bank will contribute 70% of the total, amounting to 280 million USD (INR 2240 Crores), while the State government will provide the remaining 30%, totaling 120 million USD (INR 960 Crores).
The Screening Committee of Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), in its 14th meeting held on December 19, 2023 has approved this project.
The Govt. of Maharashtra Relief and Rehabilitation Department No. DMU (आव्यप) 2024/CR.30/DMU-1, dt.13.03.2024 has approved this project.

- Contingency Emergency Response Component (CERC).
